OMEN Laptop 15-en0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello this is my first time posting here. I just bought a OMEN 15 2020 version with AMD RYZEN 7 yesterday and I had noticed that my CPU temperature has been noticeably high around 50-60°C. I was wondering if this was normal and what my CPU temp. should be when it is idle. Through the Omen Command Center, I have my Performance Control set to Comfort mode and my battery power mode is set to better performance (middle setting). I am using HP recommended power plan settings. Even with all of these low settings applied, I am still not able to get my CPU temp down to 30-40 when idle.

@Boxsu Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the OMEN Laptop 15-en0xxx CPU temperature is 55°C idle.

It is normal. While playing the game it should not cross more than 95 degrees.

I would suggets you uninstall the graphics drivers and reinstall the drivers. Also, update the BIOS.

Please click the below link to download the drivers.
