Okay so i noticed a few days ago that my laptop's bottom cover was kind of bent. So i opened it up and found that my battery was swollen. Naturally i took it out and am using it on AC power all the time now. But every time i turn my laptop on, i get an error saying "cmos configuration invalid..." i was wondering, would this affect my laptop in any way ( will it deteriorate faster)? Because i currently cannot buy another battery. Also i noticed that ever since i took my battery out my cpu temps are through the roof (reaches 90°C sometimes or even 99) also one of my laptop's fans is running at 200 rpm while the other is running at 3000 rpm is that normal or is one of my fans broken?

Hi @Mycpufanisslow,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
