OMEN by HP Laptop 17 - an-012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried every troubleshooting option I can. Used the HP software to run diagnostics and they all come back as Uknown for my battery. Very strange. Just wondering if I should get a new battery and how that all works. My battery just stays at 0% and says not charging. Really appreciate any help. Thanks.

I think it is an  OMEN by HP - 17-an012dx, its specs

It uses  8-cell, 82 Wh Li-ion battery part #  922977-855 which is N/A from HP Online store

Thank you so much for the speedy and very knowledgeable response. I have reviewed you're response and (after a little bit more research myself) I have gone and ordered that part that you listed in the link.

 

The part is not expected to arrive until late May/ Early June. 

 

I will let you know how it goes once the part arrives.

I received the battery early and just finished installing. It  worked for a few hours but then all of a sudden stopped charging at 24%.  Do you think this could be an issue with the Power Adapter?
