HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0028b
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I recently received a new PC and bought a new monitor to go with it, but when i booted it up for the first time, an error popped up that said that a boot device was not detected and to install an operating system on the hard disk. I then was told to download windows 10 onto a USB and plug it into the PC. I did that and went into BIOS and set up the boot order to boot the USB first. It then "blinked" I guess, and the screen went blank. However I know the video still works because I can still change the brightness and type of video through the monitors settings. I just cannot actually go into the computer. I'm at a loss of what to do, I have tried to reset the video driver but nothing happened, I have tried many things but nothing seems to work, However I can still go into BIOS. I just don't know what to do.I honestly don't know if the OS is downloading or if the hard drive is broken. I am assuming It's windows ten because it was made last year.
