My hp victus gaming 15b00 series isn't start properly, I recently changed the SSD of it because it could not load the os on my previous SSD so I changed it but within a week it suddenly turned off and now it's not turning on , I refered my local support (technician) , they tried to recover but they said it might be hardware issue.

Hi @parthmehta

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP Victus Gaming laptop. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

Troubleshooting Steps for HP Laptop Not Turning On

Check Power Supply and Battery:

  • Ensure that the power adapter is connected properly and the charging light is on.
  • Try to turn on the laptop using only the power adapter without the battery.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power adapter.
  • Remove the battery if it's removable.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Reconnect the battery and power adapter and try turning on the laptop.

Inspect the SSD Installation:

  • Ensure that the SSD is properly installed and connected.
  • If possible, try removing and re-installing the SSD.

Check for Display Issues:

  • If you hear the laptop's fan or other signs of activity but the screen remains black, connect it to an external monitor to check if the issue is with the display.

Reset BIOS Settings:

  • If the laptop turns on but does not load the operating system, you might need to reset the BIOS settings.

Contact HP Support:

  • If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be a hardware problem that requires professional assistance. I recommend contacting HP support for further diagnosis and repair.
