Hi @AOAMAL,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it is when your Victus Laptop starts flickering during graphics-intensive tasks, especially when you're deep into creative work or gaming. That kind of disruption can really break your flow.

1. Update Graphics Drivers

  • Use HP Support Assistant or go to: Official HP® Support
    • AMD: AMD Drivers
    • NVIDIA: NVIDIA Drivers
  • Install the latest GPU drivers for both integrated and discrete graphics.

2. Disable Hardware Acceleration

In apps like Chrome, Photoshop, or video editors:

  • Go to Settings > Advanced > System
  • Turn off “Use hardware acceleration when available”

3. Adjust Refresh Rate

  • Go to Settings > System > Display > Advanced display settings
  • Set refresh rate to 60Hz or 144Hz, depending on your panel specs

4. Switch Graphics Mode

  • Open AMD Radeon Software or NVIDIA Control Panel
  • Set the app to use High Performance GPU (not auto or integrated)

5. Check for BIOS Update

  • Visit the HP Drivers Page
  • Install the latest BIOS update some flickering issues are resolved at the firmware level

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
