Hello, my OMEN laptop has been making a rattling noise from the left fan. It has been making the noise for 2 days, I don't know how to fix it.

It helps us if you always post the Product Number of your Omen.
Press Control/Alt/S for the information menu in windows
Or
Go to the Start menu and scroll to H/HP Help and Support/HP Support Assistant.
Open the program and click on your computer in the list.
The Product Number will be listed there.

If you are certain its the fan rattling, it either needs the area cleaned or it needs to be replaced.

You would have to open the case and fan shroud to do a deep cleaning or check.

Hello, I have been informed that this is not the fan making the noise. It's an imminent hard drive failure, every time i start up my OMEN laptop it shows a black screen with two options: F2 - System diagnostics and ENTER - Continue startup

Ok thanks for the follow up. The drive will need to be replaced.

If you need further help, let me know.
