Hi @Shobhag,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the right side fan in your HP Omen 15 laptop is not working, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.

  • Check for Dust Buildup: Dust and debris can accumulate over time and obstruct the fan blades, preventing them from spinning properly. Use compressed air to carefully blow out any dust that may be blocking the fan.
  • Ensure Proper Ventilation: Make sure that the laptop is placed on a flat, hard surface that allows for adequate airflow. Using the laptop on soft surfaces like beds or couches can block ventilation and cause the fans to work harder than necessary.
  • Update Drivers: Sometimes, driver issues can cause hardware components to malfunction. Ensure that your laptop's BIOS and fan drivers are up-to-date. You can do this through the HP support website or using HP's support assistant software.
  • Check Fan Connections: Open up the laptop if you're comfortable doing so and check the connections to the fan. Sometimes, connectors can come loose due to vibrations or other factors. Reconnecting them securely may resolve the issue.
  • Run Diagnostics: Many laptops come with built-in diagnostic tools that can help identify hardware issues. Check if your HP Omen 15 has such tools and run a diagnostic test to see if it detects any problems with the fan.

Remember to exercise caution when attempting to troubleshoot or repair hardware issues on your laptop, especially if it involves opening up the device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
