My laptop stopped during boot up said something like smart drive not working. It took me to the UEFI and i found the issue under STORAGE TESTS>HARD DRIVE/SSD TESTS>EXTENSIVE CHECK and it gave me the failure ID: U8DW7A-B6AB9R-MFPX0J-60B503

Hard drive/ssd 1 if that helps. Any ideas? Do I need to factory reset or something?

You will need to install a new M.2 NVMe Gen 4 SSD and reinstall the operating system.

If your notebook is under warranty, I recommend you submit a support case to HP to have the SSD replaced.
