Recently I bought a new battery for my laptop, since it only worked if plugged in (if it was charging). I bought one with exactly the same attributes (15.4V, 70Wh and even what I believe is the same model number SR04XL).
It arrived with more or less 80% battery.I followed what I read that was recommended when buying a new battery, I charged it until it reached 100% and I turned off the computer and turned it back on pressing the F2 to enter a menu that allowed me to test and calibrate the battery (which took about the expected 2 hours) and I got positive results. Then I read that I should use the entire battery (wait for the computer to turn off by itself, Running out of battery).
It was from here that everything started to go wrong....
After running out of battery, I put the computer to charge, and tried to turn it on (as I always do) but it didn't turn on, I thought that as I let the battery reach a very low value (maybe 0%) I couldn't immediately turn on the pc and had to wait for it to charge a bit.
After leaving it charging for a long time, I tried to turn it on again but without success.
I immediately thought that the problem would be with the battery, so I removed it and went back to the old one...
However, even with the old one, the computer does not start. I even tried without any battery installed but even so the computer doesn't start.
Could someone tell me what might be going on?
Something that I noticed and may be useful is that : the computer with the new battery, the led near the charging port flashes white 3 times.
When connected to power ("charging") and with the new battery the led flashes 1 time in a red/orange tone.

The problem is currently resolved, as I took the computer to a technician.
However, I can say that I had followed the steps in the document "Computer does not turn on, start, or boot" and the computer still wouldn't turn on.
However the other document on battery calibration is quite enlightening and useful.
Anyway, thanks for the help.
