Hello community!

I have tested my SSD with AS SSD Benchmark and discovered some perfomance issues.

The write performance is with 2400 MB/s as exspected but the read performance is with 1800 MB/s terrible low.

Can someone give me an hint where the error lies.

The same with CrytalDiskMark

@danko71 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are facing NVME SSD perfomance issues

I suggest you to run a test on the memory and the system board of the laptop by following the below steps. This is just to ensure that the hardware is fine:

  • Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

  • Turn on the computer and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly, about once every second.

  • The HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu is displayed.

HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI screen

  • Select component tests.

List of the Component tests

  • Please initiate a test on the memory and then the system board.

If the hardware tests pass, then please refer to this HP article to fix performance-related issues in Windows 10.
