HP Pavilion 15-Cx0033nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

is it possible to install a NVMe SSD disk in a HP Pavilion 15-Cx0033nw laptop?

Do I have to remove the Optane memory or the HDD disk for it to be possible? (now I have two disks, HDD 1000GB and Optane 16GB)
Do all standard NVMe PCIe disks work with the laptop or I need a specific one?

Its specs

             https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c06145870

It has

Hard drive
  • 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA
  • 16 GB PCIe® NVMe™ Intel® Optane™ Memory for storage acceleration

Yes, you can replace Optane with an M.2 NVMe SSD drive but you have to do the right way. The following videos will help

Does the NVMe SSD have any speed limitations?
I was thinking about installing a 500GB Samsung 970 Evo disk, will it work?
