I need help, quick. My subscription will no longer be active on October 03, 2025. 


My credit card had to change due to a theft a couple of months ago. I changed it over, and I thought I had also transferred all services being paid from it to my new card as well. However, I forgot to transfer my HP Ultimate Gaming Coverage protection plan, and HP did not send me any messages when they couldn't take a payment from it! My rate on the plan was $119 per year, which was EXCELLENT! 

 

But because they couldn't take the payment before September, they cancelled my plan and now I can't reactivate it via my online account, or change the credit card for it! They never notified me that they couldn't take the payment for it. There were no messages for attempts.

 

Instead, if I can't reactivate this subscription and change the card for it before October 3rd, I will have to pay for a NEW Gaming Coverage protection plan, and this time, it will be $199 per year! The HP contact number for my plan is 866-517-3040 but I have contacted them multiple times and they will not answer, not even after holding for over an hour! Please help, before I lose my plan and have to buy a new one for a ridiculous rate!

To change the credit card used for your HP Ultimate Gaming Coverage Plan, you will need to update your payment information through your HP My Account. Here’s how you can do it:

 

Log in to HP My Account: Go to HP My Account and log in using your credentials.

 

Access Billing Information: Once logged in, navigate to your Dashboard where you can find options related to your subscription plans and billing information.

 

Update Payment Method: Look for the section where you can manage your payment methods. Here you can enter your new credit card information to replace the existing one.

 

Confirmation: Ensure that the new payment method is saved and displays as the active payment option for your subscription.
