I'm new to the computer scene and recently bought a "Pavilion Gaming Laptop Model 15-dkOD96wm" and I want to add some storage to my new laptop. I do not want to buy a HDD before if I know if its compatible or not. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated!

To be able to add 2.5" HDD to your machine, you need more parts:
- The hard drive cable is available using spare part number L56898-001
- The hard drive brackets are not available as a spare part (this is the killer)
Well, you have to ask HP authorized service providers, they should be able to help you
