New Laptop Battery Life Problem

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion 15-dk0050tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased Pavilion 15-dk0050tx in last week of February. I have dual booted windows 10 (64 bit) with Arch Linux running deepin desktop environment. Laptop is giving only 2 - 2.5 hrs battery backup on both operating systems in normal use ( Browsing with Firefox and reading PDFs etc.). There are no power draining apps running in background since I haven't installed anything on both OS yet.

In Arch Linux Nvidia GPU is completely shut down yet battery life is only 2.5 hrs.

Could this be a hardware issue or is it normal considering it is a gamming laptop with 144Hz display ?

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that your computer has 3-cell, 52.5 Wh Li-ion battery and your battery backup you are getting is normal.
