HP Omen dh-1088nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've replaced both ram sticks with two 8gb (16gig total) RAM DDR4. When I open Omen Command Center, it says I still only have 8gb RAM.
How do I update this/ change it?

I've uninstalled the Command Center and reinstalled, it is updated.

Firstly please re-seat RAM properly then check again. If problem persists, please try

  • Press and Hold the Windows key and Press R. Type msconfig in the Run dialog box and Press Enter.
  • The System Configuration window will open. Go to the Boot tab in it.
  • Select your Operating system from the list below if you have more than one. Now Click on the Advanced Options button.
  • On the upper right corner, Clear the checkbox next to Maximum memory. Click Ok.

Regards.
