HI all. I am not sure if this is a factory fault or just some models have this as normal.
After watching an YouTube video review on HP OMEN 17 laptop (i own the similar one) i wanted to add higher capacity SSD to my laptop but when i removed the back cover i saw there was provision for second SSD and circuit no and pins etc on the motherboard but strangely no connector.
HP chat support weren't much help so i thought i check HP forum community for help.
I've attached the pictures of my motherboard and the YouTube video where at 3:44 you can clearly see connector for secondary SSD.

The series has options for dual storage (page 2 of the manual) and your machine has BOTH
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/document/c06396159
- 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
- 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA
Older 17" machine had more room to add more drives. Nothing missing.
Regards.
