After leaving my laptop in my room without using it for a month or two I turned it on and it would not POST. after plugging it into power and letting it charge, the screen wouldn’t power on, and nothing came on when I plugged it into another display. The keyboard would go through its red pulse on startup then swap to the ripple effect I had set previously. It would be responsive but nothing would indicate it worked. 

I can press the function key to swap between lighting profiles and light up the function keys up top, and the fans spin after it idles for a while but on low speeds. Nothing is overheating. 

I tried the 15 second hard reset, unplugging and discharging the battery (there doesn’t seem to be a CMOS battery on this model), and reseating the ram.
