Pavillion Gaming cx-144tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Although my laptop ( cx-0144tx) is a gaming laptop it doesn't have software to control its functions like fan speed CPU clock and various different things like other gaming laptops can.  I can't control my fans which run very slow even when the temp reaches above 90 C, they run a lot faster during a bios update and there is still no support for it, please provide a bios update with either enabling third party fan control or increased fan speeds.

I'm not familiar with Pavillon Gaming and if there is a downloadable control center to tweak fan speeds, I just know that you can actually do it with 2019 Omen models.

But I can tell you that to reduce the temperatures (by undervolting) and to control CPU clock speeds, you can (and should) download Throttlestop anyway.  It offers more tweaks than most control programmes and works for all HP laptops. There are also plenty of guides out there on how to use it.

I have undervolted my CPU with throttlestop but, still, it doesn't make that much of a difference. I just want hp to give a better fan curve in the next bios update because my fans are limited to around 75% of their max speeds by the bios and I can't do anything about it.
