No matter what i try i am always having a 0xc00007b error

Hi

I tried to play far cry 4 but there was a problem with 0xc00007b errors so a online solution made me download some dll files and paste them on system32 and sysWOW64 files in Windows folder. The game ran fine but other application have started to show the peoblem since and no matter what i do now i cannot resolve that. I have uninstalled the game and tried every possible solution but its not resolving. Please help.

I understand that you are getting 0xc00007b error.

 

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

 

Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the notebook: A power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.

 

Next thing, I would suggest here is to update the Bios, Chipset drivers and graphics card drivers for your PC, from our HP support website, using this link.

 

Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

 

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

Once it's done, go ahead and restart the computer.

 

  • Firstly, Uninstall the game.
  • Restart the Computer.
  • Re-install the game in which you had this issue.
