right after setting up the laptop for the first time, audio didn't work

 

after many attempts using hp utilities, I manually uninstalled and remove device from the Device Manager, be sure to remove all the current driver files, then manually download and installed the audio driver from the model's drivers page and problem solved

Just so it helps to someone else 🙂
