HP OMEN 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm, thinking of buying an HP OMEN 15 but I want to know how many M.2 slots it has so I can upgrade it. Also, wanted to know if I can put in a hard drive?

The first one already has Dual Storage

       128 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD     and

       1 TB 7200 rpm SATA

The second one has single storage with

       1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

You can't add more to the first machine but you can replace any of them.

And yes, for the second machine, you can add 2.5" HDD or SSD to the second one but you need to buy the following parts first

  • Hard drive cable connector part # 929450-001
  • Hard drive brackets part # 929561-001

Regards.

What is the model product of your HP OMEN 15  ? Please use the following way to find out

            https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

Normally an HP Omen 15 machine only has one M.2 slot and one 2.5" slot for HDD/SSD.for storage.

Both laptops say that it only has the NVMe™ M.2 type storage, does that mean it has taken up the only M.2 slot but has an empty 2.5" slot where I can put in an HDD/SSD storage?

Thank you,
