Microsoft Windows 11

Hey everyone, I'm new to this gaming thing and don't know computers very well so I don't know what information may be relevant.

Whenever I try to launch steam my computer slows waaaay down to the point where I can't even open my browser as nothing loads. Steam is set to launch immediately upon powering up the computer so it happens every time I restart my computer as well. I've noticed through task manager that disc usage immediately goes up to 100% when it normally rides at <10%. The program is titled "Steam bit (32)".

I've already done a little bit of troubleshooting to no avail; I've cleared my steam cache by running the following code "steam://flushconfig" and I've reset my computer like 10 times, but like I said, the same problem happens every time the computer finishes booting up.

Anyone know what can be done?
