Hello, I have a HP OMEN 15-en0xxx that is about 2 years old. Ever since I first bought it I found that if I try unplug it the performance becomes worsened. If I let the battery die down to about 75% and plug it back in again, the performance become unusable for serval days. it will charge back to 100% relatively quickly, however the terrible performance continues on for a while slowly improving every day. 

Something also to mention is the laptop freezes and crashes quite frequently (about 3-5 times a week) and requires hard resets. This problem has also been occurring since I bought the device.

AMD Ryzen 7 4800H

Memory: Slot A and B,  8192 MB size and 3200MHz, DDR4

Storage:1TB

Battery: 70.91 Wh capacity, 11.55 Wh
