My Gaming laptop is out of warranty and all was fine till day before where suddenly the battery stopped charging and it wont work unless plugged in. Battery Diagnostic suggested primary battery has gone bad and needs replacement. on physical verification of battery connectors - I found that the battery has swollen up.
I am trying to figure out in case of such defect - is there something HP can do to replace the battery as keeping the swollen battery seems to a dangerous deal.
would appreciate inputs and someone to contact to let me know my options at the earliest.
Thanks,
Gaurav
