OMEN 15-dc1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop screen shows me lines and flickers when i use it. I have a second monitor and it is completely normal on this one. I tried multiples time to update/reinstall the NVIDIA drivers but nothing changed. I also tried to reset my Windows to see if it was a Windows problem but nothing changed.

I noticed that when those lines appears, the screen is really hot near the OMEN logo. When I switch to my second monitor only and waits a bit to let my screen cool off, when I go back to the laptop monitor, the screen is normal, but after some time the screen heats up and lines appears again.

I bought this laptop last year and it is out of warranty, what can I do ?

(Sorry for my bad English, I'm French)

Hi @predalol4476,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
