Product: OMEN 16 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-am0000 (A57XMAV)

Hi,

 

i recently bought a OMEN 16-am0176ng and im using it together with a HP Thunderbolt Dockingstation 280W G4. 

The issue im currently having is that i cant run my external monitor in 4k@ 144hz.

At the moment the setup is like this:

Omen ---USB-C---> HP Thunderbolt Dockingstation 280W G4 ---Displayport 1.4 Cable----> Monitor (ROG Strix XG27UQR)

 

The windows advanced display settings show that the monitor is only connected to the Intel UDH Graphics. The Nvidia Control Panel doesnt show the external monitor. 

I already switched to dedicated GPU in the BIOS and enabled "High Resolution Mode when connected to USB-C DP alt mode" aswell.

Is there a way to get this to work ?

I think i found the solution. Updating the firmware of the HP Thunderbolt Dockingstation 280W G4 docking station to version 1.5.27.0 did the trick.
