Received laptop few hours ago,

 

Instantly noticed "bright" corners (top right, bottom right) as shown in the bellow picture

The packaging was perfect from the courier, no obvious signs of damage.

 

These "bright" spots are immediately visible from power on (initial post screen) so it is nothing to do with the O/S, drivers, updates etc as some posts have suggested.

 

My question is, would this warrant a replacement, and would that be by the store (Curry's in Edinburgh) or would I need to speak to HP....

@MurdoD , welcome to the forum.

 

I suggest contacting Curry's in Edinburgh before contacting HP.  This will allow them to replace it if it is defective.  If they don't help you, then, you should contact HP Customer Support in your country.
