HP Omen 15-ax235nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone !

Three days ago, one my fans started making a vibrating / rattling noise. Though it's not that loud, it gets very irritating after a while. I opened my computer tonight to check if there was anything that was obstructing the fans, but except some dust, I couldn't see anything. I noticed that when I'm in-game (in Rocket League for example) the noise diminishes.

Other than that, I didn't notice any changes on my computer since the problem first appeared.

My computer is a HP Omen 15-ax235nf, and I am truly desperate for help ! Thanks for reading !

I have a few steps to help you out:

  • Updating your Notebook computer BIOS
  • Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean
  • Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat
  • Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes
  • Selecting power save settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use
