Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,  I have just bought this laptop and when I can even at Mid settings the CPU is going to 97 degrees stable.  I have already tried to update the bios, so I was wondering if there were any other solutions.

These are the specs:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz, 2400 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

BIOS Version/Date AMI F.16, 23/03/2020

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home

Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363

Thanks,

The specs of your machine is

It requires 200W PSU (charger). It runs at around 150W to 200W. Have you tried to touch to a normal 100W globe when it is ON?   Yes,  HP Omen are running hot and one way to keep it cooler is to use a cooling pad. Please try
