After purchasing this laptop, can I open the back cover to install an ssd drive without losing my warranty ??

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Maintenance and Service Guide OMEN by HP 17 Laptop PC
Chapter 5 indicates that installing a SSD or installing memory is a customer-authorized procedure.
I would imagine that you will not void the warranty unless you break something during the process of installing a SSD.
