OMEN Laptop - 17-cb1008na bezel crack through normal use not covered by warranty

Hi Community,

I 'm currently struggling to get my OMEN 17 laptop repaired under warranty for a cracked bezel.

The laptop is used normally and not abused as suggested on the phone with the HP help desk.

The issue has been caused by the extremely tight hinges that places pressure on screen corner when lid is opened.

Understandably I'm not happy being told this is misuse/physical damage  and the only way to resolve this is to pay for the repair.  I even asked if the part could be sent to me and I would replace the bezel, unfortunately I have been informed that parts are not available even though there is a HP video online showing how to perform the repair. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtFS4uuarf0
