Dear Community,
Hope this message finds you in good health.
I am looking for a replacement battery for my 5 year old OMEN Laptop15-en0037AX. I ordered one(expensive) through the support, however, the HP partner supporting HP for such hardware replacement services have notified me that they do not have the part available and don't know when it will be available. Considering my situation(quite precarious), I'd appreciate if you could help advise and find me a good "aftermarket" replacement battery compatible with my gaming laptop.
Also, would it be wise to install an "aftermarket" battery for an old laptop? I see a lot of cheap options on Amazon, however, I'm not sure if they are compatible and how they hold up compared to a proper replacement(which again I feel is very expensive).
Many thanks for your support.
Regards.

Hi:
Given the fact that HP does not sell the battery you need and you can't find an original one anywhere else, I don't see that you have any other option but to buy an aftermarket battery.
Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook:
The battery part number and description is:
| L84392-006 | Battery 6C 70Wh 3.07Ah LI SD0 |
The only suggestion I can offer would be to do a search by the HP L84392-006 battery part number on Amazon, and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references the HP part number.
I recommend you find one that offers a 1 year warranty.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the battery removal and replacement procedure:
