As per an earlier post (Solved: Re: How to stop OMEN Remote Play from Starting - HP Support Community - 7683362), it seems that you can't turn off OMEN Remote Play until you install one of the OCC clients for iOS/Android and set it up on your phone.
This is because "Enable streaming on Windows start" slider is supposedly not visible until you go through the OCC install/setup process.
It seems totally broken that I have to install an OCC client on a phone before OMEN Remote Play can be disabled on my laptop, particularly since I never turned on OMEN Remote Play in the first place (it came preinstalled on my laptop when I purchased it).
Perhaps HP is willing to send me a free phone so that I can go through the OCC install process ??? !!
HP please fix this bug.
