OMEN Transcend 16-u0078nr 16 CPU Voltage throttling

CPU is throttling voltage despite being at 60C even under load. Games stutter with frame drops and pauses every second. However issue does not occur when the laptop is connected to an external monitor.

The fact that the problem disappears when connecting an external monitor hints at a possible dGPU/IGPU switching or power delivery inconsistency.

Possible Causes & Fixes:

Hybrid Mode & GPU Switching:

• Some gaming laptops throttle CPU/GPU performance when running on the internal display due to Optimus (NVIDIA Advanced Optimus) or AMD SmartShift.
• Try forcing the laptop to use the dGPU only by disabling iGPU via NVIDIA Control Panel (for NVIDIA GPUs) or disabling Hybrid Mode in OMEN Gaming Hub.

Power Delivery Issue:

• Laptops sometimes throttle when the power adapter isn't delivering enough power.
