Hello, i have owned an OMEN by HP 15-dc1037nia for around 2 and a half years now. Recently i was looking into making it run on the intel hd graphics instead of the dedicated 1660ti. I have tried to install different drivers from the intel page, but nothing has worked. The intel hd graphics doesn't even show up in the Device Manager. By looking at specs it seems obvious to me that it supports the discreet graphics however I am not sure why I can't make it work. Any idea or solution would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:

 

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that model series comes with the discrete Nvidia graphics adapters only.

 

OMEN by HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

The model series does not come with the Intel/Nvidia switchable graphics which is why you don't see an Intel graphics adapter listed in the device manager and no Intel graphics driver will install.
