I am looking to purchase a keyboard replacement for my OMEN by HP - 17-an012dx. Would this keyboard work?

Also, lately, I've been having heating issues which shut down the laptop. I've been using a laptop fan underneath but it doesn't help. A co-worker said I should try thermal paste...
