Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop shut down while I had a portable disk drive attached. 

I did not turn it off it just randomly shut down and will not reboot.

 

I have followed all the steps for basic tech support- removing battery, leaving off power cord, and even tried to load the BIOS screen with the automated assistant. 

The LED light indicator for the power cord shows it is getting power and the power button lights up for like 3 seconds but nothing happens. No beeps, no screen turning on, nothing. 

I don’t really have the means to take it into a shop but I think that might be the next step. Any assistance is appreciated!
