Hi all, 

 

I'm trying to find out what I need to upgrade/add another HDD to my OMEN 15-(dc1044na) notebook. 

It came with a SSD already as the main drive, but I understand that there is an additional space for a sata drive that is not being used.

I would like to add a drive for more storage. 

 

Any help would really be appreciated

It has 500GB of M.2 SSD now, you can add 2.5" HDD/SSD to your machine but you need to have the following 2 parts

 

  • Hard drive cable connector part # 929450-001
  • Hard drive brackets part # 929561-001

 

You can buy parts from HP Online

           http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=929561-001

 

Or use part number and search elsewhere
