@srutkiewicz,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP OMEN-15-en1097nr (455C8UA) according to: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=455C8UA, is fitted with this battery, with p/n: L84392-006 "Battery 6C 70Wh 3.07Ah LI SD06XL". You want to verify this, by removing your back panel.

If your battery is at least 3 years old and/or your Omen is out of warranty, the issue you described almost certainly suggests that you'll need to replace your battery.

A quality SD06XL replacement battery can be bought online, such as this purchase example: https://www.amazon.com/SUNNEAR-Replacement-14-AL125TX-14-AL136TX-HSTNN-LB7G/dp/B08JGT19X4/ref=sr_1_1....

Here is an HP YouTube instructional video, which should apply to your laptop: Replace the Battery | HP OMEN Notebook PC 15 | HP Support - YouTube.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
