Microsoft Windows 11

As mentioned in the title, if the battery is connected and the power button is pushed, the computer just displays a black screen and the fans run at full speed.  Without the battery connected and just running on AC power, the computer starts and runs mostly just fine, but the BIOS is a couple years out of date but it will not update.  When I run the update program from the HP support website, it seems to work fine in Windows, but once I restart, it pops up with the normal "Installing system update" for a few seconds, then to a black screen where it stays seemingly indefinitely.  I've also tried creating the BIOS Recovery USB, but I can't get it to boot into that at all.  I have installed the latest version of the UEFI HP Hardware Diagnostic, but when I try to open it, it starts to open but gets stuck at 80% every time.  I can always reset the CMOS with Win+V, but I have not been able to get Win+B to do anything.

I feel like I have tried everything in my knowledge to get this working, and I've even learned a few new things, but I need help.

Thanks in advance for any advice, and let me know if I can provide any further information.

Hello @zeusakatkm

Sorry, but in your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges must be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

Short circuit test

- Bios desolder, reflash, Bios solder in

- charger/battery test

- Components test

- General cleaning ...

--- HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support

--- HP warranty expired:

If you can't do that, you should have it <serviced> by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
