Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Omen 15 wont turn on. When the power button is pressed the red button light comes on for 2 seconds then goes off. The fans do not turn (verified this with cover off) but there is a brief noise from the upper right area of the keyboard when this happens.

It does this with and without the battery, with the battery only, etc. I've held the power button, tried pressing F11 or windows+b during power up, have reseated and tried other RAM, and verified the power strip, and cord are good and replaced the power jack as I had a compatible one. Still exactly the same issue.

This failure occurred while the computer was sitting idle over night with nothing other than background programs running, so I doubt overheating was the issue. It is stock except I replaced the original 12GB of RAM with a pair of 16GB  cards about 6 months ago.

Thanks for your help.

Please tell me the full product name and product number (p/n) of your notebook. You will find this information on the back of your notebook printed in small letters.
