@Jotto1122,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Unfortunately, on the Omen 16, there is no advanced BIOS menu to unlock, and Ctrl/Strg + F10 will never work on this platform.  HP removed hidden BIOS access years ago due to stability, warranty, and security concerns.

Where (some) advanced controls are provided:

  • OMEN Gaming Hub (Windows):

    • Performance modes

    • Fan curves (model-dependent)

    • Power limits (limited)

  • Intel XTU / AMD tools:

    • Heavily restricted or blocked by HP firmware

    • Undervolting is usually disabled because of 'Plundervolt' mitigation

If you got an AMD processor:

Use AMD Ryzen Master / AMD Tuning (Official AMD Software)

  • AMD's native performance utility for Ryzen processors. Provides detailed CPU clocks, voltages, PBO/Curve Optimizer config, and real-time telemetry.

  • Offers both Basic and Advanced tuning modes for users who want deeper access than HP's UI allows.

Important caveat:

  • On many OEM laptops (including some HP OMEN models), Ryzen Master may not function fully due to firmware OEM locks. But it's still worth installing to see what options are exposed.

Kind Regards,

Those advanced options are hidden and locked for safety and stability reasons. Even if you access them, you won't gain any benefits, as it's a gaming laptop, not a desktop PC. Gaming laptop settings are already well-optimized based on the cooling system and component stress. Trying to tweak them for more performance will only damage the laptop and reduce its lifespan without any noticeable gains. Your best option is to optimize Windows for gaming, adjust in-game graphics settings, and configure the NVIDIA Control Panel. If you have a single-channel RAM configuration, upgrade to dual-channel. This will provide all you need for a smoother experience.

Ryzen Controller is PC-focused (desktops), but UXTU (its laptop alternative) works on AMD laptops if Ryzen-based; use cautiously for temp/power limits, as wrong settings can cause damage, open-source but user responsibilty.
