Product: OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-ck1000 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hey so the overclocking is locked on my PC even though it's a 12800hx which is a unlocked chip. Hp can you either update the bios to support that or tell us how to turn off write protect (bios)so we can enable overclocking ourselves?

HP disabled over clocking machines for few reasons; one reason I could think of is warranty, HP would not be able to accept many damaged machines due to heat during their first year AND Omen is a very hot machine.
Hope this makes sense.
