Hey so the overclocking is locked on my PC even though it's a 12800hx which is a unlocked chip. Hp can you either update the bios to support that or tell us how to turn off write protect (bios)so we can enable overclocking ourselves?

Then have a options that says it voids your warrenty for overclocking options. Why buy a overclockable chip if we can't overclock it

HP disabled over clocking machines for few reasons; one  reason I could think of is warranty, HP would not be able to accept many damaged machines due to heat during their first year AND Omen is a very hot machine.

 

Hope this makes sense.
