Its specs

    https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05367366

It has

  • 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB)
  • 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA

1. RAM: You can upgrade to 2x8GB or 2x16GB using following compatible RAM   (or similar)

               https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k8g4sfs824a/ct10501446

2. Storage: You have 2 options

     (a) Replace 2.5" 1TB HDD with 1TB 2.5" SSD (your question) using Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860EVO series, for example

            https://www.crucial.com/ssd/mx500/ct1000mx500ssd1/ct11523082

     (b) Add M.2 NVMe to your machine (keep existing HDD) using Crucial P1 or Samsung 970EVO or similar, for example

Hello @hellyeahh

YES to both questions.

Any 2.5 inch Sata SSD will work. I recommend a good brand name with a good warranty. Stay away from generic brands (my personal opinion).

Your ram needs to match the timings of the current stick thats installed. DDR4 2400Mhz laptop ram. If replacing the whole thing, the new ram should be purchased as a matched set, not separate purchases.

Crucial memory finder is an excellent tool on the web that can offer ram guaranteed to work or your money back.

Example:  In France... https://www.crucial.fr/  Look for HP Omen 17-200 or 200 CTO. Any model in the 200 range will be the same ram.
