Omen 17-an123nm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I have Omen 17-an123nm with Windows 10 64bit pro.  Problem is with my omen command center. Everything worked fine, but  now it won't start.  I guess some windows update made a problem.  When i press a button on the keyboard or i want to run it from all programs nothing happens.

I tried with update windows and drivers with HP support assistant, uninstall programs, install new CC from windows store, fresh install HP System Event Utility and OMEN Command Center SDK Package. But it still doesn't work.

What is problem?

Hello @Rogi82

Not sure what happened. When you install the HP Event Uti. grab this one....

Get HP System Event Utility - Microsoft Store

Now force Windows Updates to search for updates. Go to updates and click on the Search for Updates button, even if it shows its up to date. If it already shows updates pending, let them install, then search again. If it finds any, install them and reboot the computer. Then do it again (search again until no more are found).

Go to Windows Services and scroll down to HP Omen HSA Service and make sure its set to Running - Automatic.
The Omen button may or may not open the OCC. If it does not, go to the Start Menu and see if it will open from the short cut.
If it will not open from the Start menu shortcut, right click the shortcut and choose More... Run as Administrator.

Let me know if that helps.

Hi @Photoray002,

thanks for your reply but I tried everything what you wrote but without results.

Users with Windows 10 Pro often have this very issue, I dont know why but its been reported before.

It sounds like it might very well have been an update, but I would not know which update. Could be the version of the OCC, or it might be one of the Windows Cumulative files.

IF you have Restore Points enabled, I would try reverting back to a point previous to when this issue started and see if that makes any difference.
