I am having trouble with the left side of the touchpad, which randomly stops responding. The right side works, but the left side does not. I can only get the left side working again by pressing Fn-F11 twice to cycle the touchpad. During a Windows session, I will have to press Fn-F11 several times, and a system reboot temporarily addresses the issue.

I have also run the HP diagnostics touchpad, and during the test, I could not move the box on the left side, which failed.  I have reloaded my system back to  HP factory boot image (wipe the system clean) several times and made sure the touchpad drivers are up to date,  but within 5-20 mins the problem touchpad on the left side will be unresponsive.  An external mouse does work without issues, even when the left side of the touchpad is unresponsive.  How can this problem be resolved?
