Omen 17-ano12dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am getting a m.2 ssd nvme 2280. might get a 500gb. not sure which one yet.  My laptop is the omen 17-an012dx. Thinking about getting this one.

My questions are

1. Will this ssd work with my laptop?

2. What screw do I need? There is no screw inside the laptop? What screw is it? Where can I get it? Do I need a stand off?

Hello @Damnation

Yes that drive should work fine.

But the only way to know if you need a standoff and screw is to open the case and look. It might have one, or it might have a strip of thermal tape to tape it down with.

If you need a screw, they are standard for all M.2 drives.

You can find them easily on any web search for a 2x3mm m.2 screw...

Here is your manual for access to the drive...
