Omen 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop will spike to 100C then up to 5 seconds later the fans will finally spool up and bring the temps back to the 80s.  The system stress tests in the 80C range with no throttling once the fans spool up.

I really dont like seeing my CPU hitting 100C every time it's placed under load.  Has anybody seen any chatter about this?  To be clear, the system maintains cool temps at full boost so its not a cooling issue, it's a slow fan spool up issue.

Running current drivers/bios.

Please try testing the hardware -

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Extensive Test.

Let me know.
