Hi community, can anyone help me with my issue why I can't open the Omen Command Center app after downloading and installing it from Microsoft Store?
Here are what I have tried so far:
1. Tried repairing and resetting the app thru windows settings
2. Tried uninstalling the app. Restarted the laptop and installed the app again
3. Tried again #2 but this time I downloaded and installed the Omen Command Center driver after
4. Updated all drivers and tried #1, #2, & #3
5. Installed all windows updates and now I'm in Windows 1903 update. And tried again #1 to #4
At first the app is working and can be opened after I bought it from store. Then there are auto-updates and I restarted the laptop. Then the app started not working. Then later on, keyboard LEDs turned off.
Other notes:
- My OS is Windows 10 (64-bit)
- The Omen Command Center button on the keyboard is working. It is just that the app can't be opened. It keeps on showing "This app can't open".
- The model to be exact is Omen 15-dc1072tx
Thanks! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello @giborism
Uninstall the Omen Command Center you downloaded from the HP drivers page. Its old and cannot be used anymore. I don't know why HP still has it posted. If you have the App version, uninstall it also.
Then Install the latest version from the MS store (currently 9.1.2.0)... Get OMEN Command Center - Microsoft Store
Reboot and go to Windows All Settings> Updates and Security and if there are any pending updates, install them.
Reboot and go back to Updates again. Click the Check for Updates button even if it shows its up to date. Install any updates found. Reboot and do it again until it doesn't find anymore.
Next, install this driver... OMEN Command Center SDK Package sp98588.exe
Open the HP Support Assistant and make sure the bios is the latest version... F.12
Update it if it isn't... sp97146.exe
You should be able to open it now from the Start Menu. If the Omen Button is not opening it, its a glitch that HP hasn't found a fix for.

Also If you have done the steps as I have them written and its not opening, go to Services (type Services in the Search bar) and scroll down to HP Omen HSA Services and make sure its set to Running Automatic.
